6 Week Fitness Challenge

So in this video I would like to publicly declare that I will start and complete a 6 week fitness challenge. I am doing this for a few reasons, primarily to change my lifestyle, my body, and my emotions with myself. This video will also put me accountable with whatever happens, whether I finish or complete the challenge, this will put pressure on me to be successful. Stefan James from https://projectlifemastery.com/ has recommended that publicly announcing your goals, you will increase the chances of you taking action and ultimately achieving them. If you do not declare your goals to anyone, you will be only accountable to yourself and if you fail, then that is just fine you only have yourself. If you publicly tell the world, then you are more accountable to other people who are expecting you do take action, to do the work, and to make your goals.

This challenge will consist of three pillars. First is the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts. This type of workout is special because it will test your body for short amounts of time but incredibly hard, resulting in fast results and big gains. Secondly is a personalized nutrition plan. Weekly meal prepping alongside a grocery list for putting in the best fuel for your body. Lastly and I believe what is different from this challenge from others is the accountability coach. The accountability coach will be there every week making sure everyone is making progress towards their goals. He is responsible to keep us motivated and persistent with our daily habits towards a better lifestyle.

Thank you for reading, staying updated with my progress and transformation. If you have any questions about his challenge check out the gym’s website.

In this guitar lesson video, I describe how to play a simple polyrhythm. Specifically 2 over 3 (2:3) polyrhythm saying the phrase “Cold Cup of Tea”. My drummer friend told me to say this phrase over and over to help me master the technique. Hopefully saying the phrase will help you learn to play too! Comment on other phrases you use to learn polyrhythms. Thanks for watching and if you found value in this video like and subscribe.

Say Something – A Great Big World (Altered Tuning Cover)

This song has tugged on my heart strings when it was released. I was going through some relationship stuff and not sure exactly why but this song was just perfect for my feelings of that time period. Then realizing I could change up the song a bit to the style of play I love doing made it even more touching. Using an altered tuning made it more personal and just powerful. So here is my version of A Great Big World featuring Christina Aguilera – Say Something.

Progress Every Single Day

So recently I’ve been taking some actions towards the business. Realized that I must work practically EVERY SINGLE DAY towards because according to Jim Rohn, create those habits and just doing those habits will keep you motivated. Knowing that, I did a little progress in my business will make me want to do it again the next day. It is kinda crazy and I like it. So trying to change my mentality about the whole habit thing towards the business and yeeeeaaaaah.

Where Ever Focus Goes, Your Energy Flows

Tony Robbins has mentioned that whatever you focus on a daily basis, your energy  and actions will flow towards it. So what I do everyday is focus on my passions; music, dance, poetry, and life experiences. What do you focus on a daily basis? Does it contribute to what you truly want in life? If not, try to switch your focus to whatever makes you happy, whatever you’re passionate about, whatever makes your life better than the day before. Yesterday is gone, history, donezo…Now what can you do TODAY to set yourself up for a better tomorrow? I believe focusing on things you are passionate about, it will make a life worth living.
